Aid Management Platform

Development Gateway Foundation is working to advance aid harmonization and coordination by addressing key challenges in the areas of information access, tracking and management. The Aid Platform Management Aid (AMP) is an information-sharing system that helps developing countries and the ir donors plan, monitor and report on international aid flows and activities. Quickly deployable, it improves the way development resources are managed, coordinated and aligned with national priorities.

AMP was developed as a pilot with the Government of Ethiopia and its local Donor Assistance Group, and with special cooperation from the OECD, UNDP and World Bank. It is also cost-effective tool that:
  • Provides a consistent, transparent view of aid resources for improved decisionmaking
  • Facilitates donor coordination and aid disbursement
  • Facilitates the harmonization of aid tracking and monitoring terms
  • Reduces transaction costs associated with data collection, processing, management and reporting
  • Enables timely, accurate and comprehensive reporting
